​Welcome to Recovery United Illinois Taskforce. Our goals and objectives are ultimately to empower Recovery Support Services across Illinois. We aim to do this by achieving the following goals:

Capacity Development

Goal #1: Strengthening Organizational Capacity
Join us in enhancing the capabilities of Recovery Support Services (RSS) providers across all 102 counties in Illinois. By collaborating with key organizations like CRCC, NIRCO, TAT, Live4Lali, and other partners, we're driving structural changes for long-term viability.

Building Together: Forming a dedicated Recovery Leadership Steering Committee composed of regional institution representatives to empower providers in each county.

Ongoing Support: Continuously identifying and aiding county providers annually, ensuring their growth and resilience.

Tailored Solutions: Conducting ongoing assessments to understand each county's specific needs, paving the way for targeted assistance.

Diverse Training: Providing specialized, culturally competent training for Task Force members to better serve marginalized communities.

Networking Hub: Facilitating networking opportunities among RICBs through the Task Force, fostering a culture of collaboration.

Goal #3: Integrating PRSS into Healthcare Models
Join us in revolutionizing healthcare! We're expanding Peer Recovery Support Services (PRSS) across primary care and emerging behavioral healthcare models with a focus on 12 providers in Illinois.

Integrated Care: Identifying and advocating for PRSS integration in Health Homes, FQHS, and CCBHCs.

Educational Outreach: Conducting engaging presentations to highlight the benefits of PRSS in these healthcare settings, starting.
Goal #4: Collaborating for Harm Reduction
We're dedicated to reducing harm and supporting individuals and families affected by substance use disorders (SUD).
